Swings and slides will keep the kids occupied at this family-friendly site, and there are plenty of walks around the grounds – great for doggos – as well as cute little seating areas with pond or woodland views.
You can barbecue at your pitch (but please keep campfires off the ground), or head for the local pub (20 minutes’ walk) for good pub grub in a beamed dining room; there’s also a local shop where you can stock up on essentials. You can keep your food fresh in the communal fridges back at base; other facilities include a modern, spotless shower and loo block with a washing-up area.
Our 9 acre site was formerly a topiary garden selling an extensive range of specialist plants. We’ve worked hard to preserve and develop the flora and fauna within our grounds.
We’re thrilled to see great crested newts, dragon flies and other wildlife thriving in and around our ponds. Our woodland areas are home to woodpeckers, owls and wood mice to name just a few residents!
